I'm pretty much new to 'performance'...and am trying to learn. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

bore is the size circularlly of your cylinders. stroke is how far/lengh your crankshaft moves your rods/pistons. rod/stroke is the size of your rods compared to the size of you lenghth of your stroke so if you have a really high stroke and a really small rod it will be low r/s ratio.
