An important thing to keep in mind is that price is largely dependent on region. Some places are cheaper than others. A good price for Hawaii or the West Coast might be grossly overpriced on the East Coast or Midwest (where demand for Honda stuff is generally lower). So if $600 seems to be the lowest price you can find, ****** it up. Don't pass it up because someone who lives where these motors are MUCH cheaper says it is a bad deal.

I paid $150 for mine, and I got a y8 intake manifold thrown in for free. It's good to have friends that run junkyards. I love my Z6 also btw, great little engine. Use storminmatt's info and make your own harness and save lots of money too.
I picked up mine complete with intake manifold, good axles, and tranny for $300.
The previous owner pulled it out for an H22 swap. Sold the tranny, head, and intake manifold for a total of $350, gave the axles away for free, and bought a Y8 head for $75!
The bottom end needed a rebuild so it's not like I got a GREAT deal, but it was damn good anyway..... basically free!
Look for deals.
