There was a post on here a few months ago discussing SCCA dropping their FIA certification for certain Corbeau seats.

I can't find it in the archives. Searched both topic and message body for the post.

It's legal in NASA with a seat back brace but the Curpiers and I are trying to find out if the seat is totally illegal for SCCA or just without a seat back brace.

Anyone know the story on the Corbeau Revolution Seat and it's SCCA eligibility?

I have a Corbeau seat in my Celica, and it passed tech with no problems last week at Williow Springs.

Thanks John, it appears that with a seat brace it's a legal seat but I just emailed SCCA for confirmation.

Seat in my ITC is corbeau and has a seat brace and is legal, when you get a reply from the SCCA can you please post it so everybody has a confirmed thanks
