FS: '99 Hatch H22A4 Ohio
I didn't pass emissions and can't get plates and I don't know how to fix it. Wife wants it to go.
Car and engine both have about 60K miles. No check engine lights, runs perfect. Body is great except front bumper cover got partially pulled off when I had the car delivered, also a front strut is blown and leaking. Asking $9900.

got some pics of the car over the weekend
I think there are a couple of reasons I'm not passing emissions. First, I noticed the EGR valve is there (with a sensor hooked up to it) but the vacuum line (that is supposed to go to a solenoid) doesn't go anywhere, so obviously that isn't functioning. That would cause more unburnt fuel to pass through the exhaust and increase emissions. The other thing is the car has a chipped (socketed) P13 ECU. It runs great but it probably runs richer (more fuel) than it would if it was a stock ECU.

7-8k at most, i knwo its a 99' but still its hard to resell after you've done a swap and all that work since people are worried about problems w/ the swap etc etc usually
yeah, i agree that people are concerned about swaps, so i think it is worth it to spend a little more initially when buying a car with a swap that was done right and has no problems, and that is true for this car and...and compared to say, a '99 Si, it isn't even a contest if you were looking at power, this thing would walk away from any Si (non-turbo) without even trying
