Default Aftermarket support

Aight,
I am installing an 89-91 B16 engine and wanna know, when I got to order aftermarket parts for my CRX, like CAI and exhaust, would I order them for the make and model of the car, or for the engine,
I'm confused on this topic,
thanks
I also wanna install a turbo on the B16, and once again for the make and model of the car, or the engine(I know engine).
Anyone know of a good size to install?
Thanks
I'm new to the CRX world so cut me a brake here

Another thing

is the B16A1 engine a good choice to install in my 91 Si?
What are all the availible engine that I can install?
I do wanna turbocharge it?

my friends at the other forum that I belong to said that the compression should be around8.5:1 or 7:1, is this true?
thanks for all ur help

OK, you can order a CAI for a 99-00 civic Si, it works. You would order an exhaust for the car. Some turbo kit makers have turbo kits for CRX's with b16a's. yes the b16a is a fine choice for your car. As long as your running low boost(8-9 psi) you should be fine with your stock motor. You could probably go a little higher, but I don't know if I would. as for what other motors you can install in your car, well theres the ZC, b17a, b18a/b, b18c, b18c5, b20b, etc. there are more, but I'm tired right now. try http://hybrid.honda-perf.org

7:1 compression...no no. Your comprss of the B16a is 10.2:1. An LS swap might be a better choice for you if you want to boost it

Yeah, 7:1? WTF? thats way too low bro, i personally wouldnt go lower than 9:1. Even the B16as 10.x:1 can be safely turbo'd, but if you running more than moderate boost your gonna want to upgrade the internals anyways, no matter which engine you chose.

Wouldnt anything bigger than a B16a be big and hard to fit into the CRX engine bay??????

Also, WIll the B16a2, or sec. gen. B16 engine, work in my CRX?
IF so, what are some of the differences, and would it be practical for my purposes?

I was thinking about running 10 psi boost on street and 15-20 psi boost on the track with the use of a boost controller.
Is the B16a1 engine a good choice?
Yes, I do plan on upgrading the internals, so I dont think boost is really an issue here. And of course, I do plan on reinforcing the internals before I install the motor into my car, so that takes alot of headaches away?

thanks in advance everyone
