I am looking for any aftermarket shocks available for a 2003 Civic 4dr LX...

I will be lowering the car with adjustable springs and I am looking for a shock that will work. I don't need coilovers or adjustable shocks... I am just looking for a gas shock/strut that will work on this car when it is lowered approximately 1.5".

I know that KYB and Tokico don't have a shock release for this car. I've seen Koni's but that's too much money. Is there any other alternatives.

Any help would be great.

It's the Koni or nothing. You have struts on your car (all previous gens had coil over shock setups) so Koni is usually the only one that goes aftermarket with struts. Maybe in a few years someone might engineer them, but they may not (it may happen, since civics are such a large market.)

You could get OEM replacements, but they won't help out any over OEM.
