tightening the throttle cable
i have a helix power tower, and it tightened the cable alot... damn good throttle response, and (supposedly) adds more power... integra applications are new, so if u are interested, i can get u some... http://www.streetandperformanceelect....com/helix.htm
that thing looks like that "tornado" thing. i don't think that those things do much more than increase gas mileage. have you noticed any power increases? i just replaced my cat with straight pipe and my car is noticably faster, i don't have any more money right now... is there any way i can tighten the cable without adding anything? if you really get 20 more horsepower acros the band, i might get one of those things. how do you feel about it overall? notice any difference?
mainly the throttle response is increased, and the gas pedal is alot more sensitive (almost no free play)... the consequece of a tighter throttle cable...
Yes, tightening the throttle cable is a free mod that only requires that you have two wrenches.
Can't give exact directions but all you need to do is move the nuts that are on the cable at that will begin to tigten the cable. I can give more specific instrux in the morning, but I am sure someone else will probably respond by then.
In short, it is a nice free mod that requires minimal effort.

lol, no it's taiwanese... i'm not though. i'm guessing that i need to turn the nuts on the cable and i'll see if it's getting tighter or looser. i'm gonna go try it now and see if i get anywhere
