is there a better or stronger automatic trans. i can get for my car or is it not wroth it i have a 92 accord ex

level 10 makes a rebuild kit and all that good stuff, but it will cost you a lot of mulla. best thing is to swap in a 5spd

Might as well swap in a H22 with your transmission unless you plan on boosting your F22. In that case, H23 trans

I thought the transmission recall was for the 6cyl tranny?

You can check on the offical Honda site for recalls.

h23 will kill you if you do a lot of highway driving (gas wise...compared to the f22s longer gears, etc...)
