If its continuing to run after you turn the key off, then I believe its called "dieseling" and its because of carbon buildup in the cylinder continuing to ignite fuel after the ignition is turned off.
If thats not it, then I have no clue.

yo ya i've read that one a few months ago. is that the only way b/c some people said it isnt good b/c it clears up areas of the motor where u might lose compression or create leaks. i dont know. it didnt sounds 99% safe. just worrying i guess but i have to integras and the other is fine so i guess i should just try it. just the teggy with the problem looks nicer then the other

When's the last time you changed your cap, rotor, wires and spark plugs? Maybe it's time.
I've done Sea Foam on 4 cars so far and it's been great every time. Just follow the directions and you'll be fine. After about 1/3 in the intake manifold vacuum hose (via the brake booster vacuum hose) I put the rest in the gas tank.

a way to get rid of carbon build up is water.
get a few ounces and put it in a spray bottle. spray 2-3 times every minute and rev it up. do it a few times. if u have some 1 do it and u go to the back u can see the carbon fly out. BUT DO NOT SPRAY TOO MUCH WATER OR DO IT FOR MORE THEN 5 MINUTES. it will **** up ure engine.
