Default crx project-yah or nah

my buddy found a crx for $300. the only problem is almost everything.
heres a list of things that need to be fixed and/or replaced:
-both rear fenders need to be replaced.
-hood replacment
-windsheild has large crack
-hole in muffler-big one!
-frame has large rotten holes in it
-lots of rust in other places.
-tires are almost bald
-clutch makes funny noise, probably needs replacement.
-interior: -seats=junk
-vents are missing
-radio also missing
also this guy has nowhere to work on this car. IE-no garage or tools.

should he buy it, and how much do you think reapairs will cost him?

i'll try to take a couple of pictures.
thanks -sean

I wouldn't pay more than $100 for it with all that work needed.

inspect the frame very good...if its just on the surface and not rotting then you should be ok... but if you can poke your figer through it....no way.

don't pay more than $50-$100 for it anyways.

Only to part it out, and only for 100 bucks.

It's a bad idea. He's just gonna have it lying around until he finds a garage to work on it.
he'll probably get tired of it and throw it away.plus all that **** that's wrong with it is gonna run him over 1500 in repairs.tell him not to be soo cheap and to look for a better car.One that at least runs well.

this is gunner666's friend (his accounts always on)

anyway, about the crx.. i can get this for 200$ CND and no i do not have a garage to work on it but i will gladly pay to have ot worked on by someone else.. im only going to pick this thing up if the frame is in half decent shape. the engine runs good, brakes are good.. the ONLY thing i feel that needs work on is the body, new exhaust and the odd here and there thing on the engine, and i already have a place that can get me the parts i need.

do you think i should can this project and wait for something else? .. or just get it and have it as a 2-3 year project? .. i have another car as my daily driver, but want something else

thanks
-Matt
