HELP!!!!!

Default HELP!!!!!

i just did the mpfi swap on my 89 crx dx. when i try to start the car, gas sprays out from the injectors! i'm hoping its just the o-rings on the injectors but it coming from the top where the injectors meet the fuel rail...any help would be appreciated!!!

umm.. probaly the o ring on top of the injector..

so, i'm assuming that if those rings are bad, that would be why the car didn't want to start? oh and that problem wouldn't have anything to do with the wiring would it?

well, i don't think any fuel at all was getting through the injectors, it was spraying out everywhere....and i'm not talking about a little spray, it was ALOT....

The wiring wouldn't cause fuel to spray out like you are describing. Replacing the orings would be a good place to start but what are the chances that all the orings are bad unless they are really old.

If you have the problem after replacing the orings you may want to borrow a fuel rail and try that out with your injectors. Lets us know what happens. Later

if fuel is coming out of all of them... they either don't have O rings or your didn't seat them in correctly.

wiring has nothing to do with fuel spraying everywhere....

check the o rings, then make sure your fuel rail is tightened down very well. those nuts have to be very tight, but careful cause i broke one of the studs when i had the same problem.
