At an autocross a couple weeks ago I ran out of gas (was cutting out around turns), so I bought some off someone that had brought a gas can. It was 94 octane. Worked okay for the autocross, but when I was just cruising on the way home it started backfiring!!! Pulled over at the next station and filled up with 87 and smooth sailing the rest of the way home.
If youre going to run in Honda Challenge there is no need to use anything more than 94 octane. We can't run high enough compression to make it even worthwhile using 100 octane.

I dynoed my car on 87 and 91 (i did not change anything) and made 2 HP more on 87.. untill I start to change things I'm sure I will need to use 91 or better..
