it doesn't sound normal to me. your instincts are usually correct. take it to the back to dealer.

serious? damn, that is some bullshit, i dont think there should be any vibration in both the pedal and the shifter when you get into sixth gear, that should be a pretty smooth gear. I am so surprised but at the same time i feel a little let down that this car is already having a problem, if this turns out to be a big deal, and more owners complain of this, i think i might be getting a Jetta GLi.

and a VW is my last of last resorts.

the 2005 type-S comes with a small trunklid lip spoiler standard, but i believe the type-R spoiler will be available as part of the aero kit in the A-spec package.

yeah i would take it back to the dealer. i havent had any problems at all with mine. i asked the dealership if i could get the type-r as a seperate option myself when i bought the car but they said no, they can only sell it with the complete a-spec package. kinda stupid if u ask me that they dont sell it seperate

you're not by any chance putting it in 6th going under 20MPH and trying to go full throttle?

Shouldn't happen at highway speeds.

Bring it in and make sure to ask for a FREE loaner for the day or however long it takes to get your car back.

what speed are you shifting into 6th. like someone said if you're at 20mph and shift into 6th it's gonna be bitch hehe. but i don't think yer doing that. if you're going into 6th at antyhing more than....40mph, nothing should vibrate shake rattle. normal everyday driving, rpm's should be between 2000rpm and 3000rpm. of course take it up as high as you want hhehe. but below 2000rpm, there's no point to even drive the car that low.
