Ex exhaust manifold for ZC? questions.

Default Ex exhaust manifold for ZC? questions.

on the Zcr.com, it says to swap the exhaust manifold of an Ex because it bigger. but the thing is i dont know wat year an Ex civic is from. its on this site. http://www.thezcr.com/modules....cat=5
if this is true then im hit up a junkyard and get one

I believe it is the EX manifolds off the 96-00, or maybe more specific to 98-00.

i would go with a ZC upper, and the lower off of a 92+ sohc vtec motor (y8 0r z6)

the upper portion of the ZC is actually bigger (runner wise) then the sohc's but the lower section is better on the sohc's so a combo of both is best

im kinda a newbie still.. so u mean, keep the zc upper manifold, but change the header manifold to a one off of a 92 + sohc vtec motor rite?

right keep the sohc downpipe, because it flows better then the ZC one...and keep the upper ZC portion. Also only thing about this setup, it will kinda hang slightly...

I used sohc header from 2000 ex. ports lined up almost perfect.
