Default is this bad on my timing? (dohc zc)

my problem is that i have a dohc zc and i was lookin at the cam gears and i noticed by the marks (on gears) that it looks like the exhaust gear and the intake gear's are a little off. now my car hasnt been runnin strange or anything but the gears were line up before. so what could cause this?? and how bad is it on the timing?? the idle has all ways been "strange" (kinda high) i was told as long as its not runnin rough, but im also wondering if this could be apart of my bad idle?? any ideas???

You think your cam gears are a tooth off?

Both lines dont match up perfect when setting timing. If you take off the valve cover you will see 2 holes where you can put an allen key or a punch through the head into the cams.

You can see if your timming is dead on or not. If they line up then you dont have a problem, but if you can only get one in then your off a tooth.

You want to be dead on..You dont want to be off in your timming.... and if you said that it was perfect and now its not that means that the belt is slipping which is very bad... If I see you some time this weekend I will check it out for you if you want
