I have a 89 crx using a 89 teg ls ECU both of which are OBD0.
I'm using a 92-95 OBD1 civic alt, for some reason I have a misterious CEL
no LED flashes. When I start up and sits, no CEL but once start driving the CEL appears. Is the problem the alt plug, could one of the 4 wires be in a different location. Will a pin swap fix it and if so which ones need to be moved. Will either have to get a pin swap or change alt pullies and put it on a 88-91 alt. I'm using a 92-95 D15B7.

no code at all...thats the first thing I checked....No LED flashed on ECU...just to test the LED I unplugged the C plug car died of course but it did flash so the LED works

 

its not the alt, i have been running 92+ alt's on obd0 cars for years now, not a problem (except for obd2's diff plug) but yeah, its something else...

 

I'm so happy...finally threw the code I was thinking it was code 20 ELD....now to find the problem...
