yes sir. I second that. Why do you have an h22 tb when you could get a type r which is bigger?

H22 bolts on huh? interesting. You could have went with the GSR or USDM B16A2 60mm TB which can be bored to 64mm and obtained cheaply. That's what I'm doing. ITR throttlebodies are going for quite a bit more and aren't really worth it, IMO. Especially when you can bore a cheaper one bigger than the ITR and still come out spending less than the ITR TB. The JDM 1st Gen B16 has a 58mm butterfly.

out of curiosity, does the throttle body swap really make that big of a difference? if so whats a good TB upgrade for a 92 civic cx? (i know i know its in the wrong forum but its not for me its for my friend and he used up all his posts-n00b).
H22 throttle body bolts up fine and has the same bore size as a stock B16 throttle body. However, it's the bore is thicker so there's a lot more material that you can shave away and get it up to around 68mm no problem if you really wanted to, where as on a stock B16 throttle body, 62-64mm is about as high as you can go. Otherwise if you leave it stock on your motor, there is no difference in performance.
