will f22b turbo fit h22
i just recently blew my f22b turbo motor, i was thinking about swapin an h22 but i would still want to use the turbo. My guess is that i would have to get a different turbo manifold but is that it or would i have to change a bunch more stuff... any help or advice is great... thanx
Should be fine but w/ the exception of the exhaust manifold like you mentioned. Most of the other fuel components are universal except for the fuel pump, but that is just dependent on the car and not the engine I don't beleive.
im a little worried about the intercooler piping and posibly the down pipe but slight mods should be ok... my f22b is out of a CL but close enough to an accord
I am getting ready to turbo my f22,,,,,, how did you blow yours???? I am a littl concerned,, I am keeping all stock internals. I hear a lot from people that that is OK if you kepp under 8 to 10 psi boost but it must strain engine compnents with all that power ouside the design window.
Did you blow rings,,,,,,,, rods,,,, block ????

well so far i have taken off the head and took out the #1 and #3 pistons the rings were blown and also cracked off a big chunk of the piston, im wating to see the #4 piston because that is the cylinder that failed and was low on the compression check, i was only boostin 7-9 daily the motor only had 35,xxx on the clock and only lasted a month so be very careful be sure to upgrade your fuel system break it in and get a good tune... good luck oh ya also bent a valve or two
