ok i have a 92 gsr w/ a chipped p28 & a VAFC. first it started intermittenly that the CEL 3 would come on whenever i decel. id turn off the car then back on and it would go away. then a week ago the CEL for code 3 came back on but wouldnt go away. so i checked all connections from the VAFC & ecu harness and everything was good but the CEL for code 3 kept coming on and staying. so right now i d/c the MAP wire from the VAFC and still run the VAFC but it basically useless since i cant tune anything. anyone else have a similar prob or anything?

probably not the cause, but did you double check to make sure the sensor is at 06 06? in the settings menu

 

i reconnected the MAP wire and set it to 06 06. and it was running fine for alittle bit. but then the CEL came on for MAP electrical (code 3)

 

Id hook up the map wire like stock and see if it throws a code. If it does you may actually have a bad map sensor. I know that the fields controllers are good for taking a crap after a few years. Good luck!

 

its my damn VAFC! i borrowed a friend on mines VAFC and now my car does not through any code at all. wonder if there is still a warranty on it or something
