turbo ITR what pistons do i use?

Default turbo ITR what pistons do i use?

my cousin wants to turbo his ITR motor, not really sure about the project but he's asking me to post here to see if stock pistons will be fine?

if he's going to use stock piston, be sure to use 2 layers of stock head gaskets hehehhee

I wouldn't run more than 8lbs of boost on a stock bottom end. If he's going to crack open the engine to put in different pistons, he may as well get that bitch sleeved, new rods, etc. If he does all that he can run more boost.

Golden Eagle is a reputable company that makes all of these parts. There is Crower.....tons of companies. Best bet is to start calling these guys and ask questions.

If you get the engine sleeved expect a turn around time of about six weeks. It will be worth the wait.

8 pounds is a nice start like was stated above. U can also look into Benson for the sleeves, Full-Race, Pauter even eagle for the rods, and there is Cp, Arias, Je for the pistons. Do a couple searches and you should be able to find out a bunch of info.
