Stock Ls Vtec
Ok ya go easy on me and im new starting today to this forum wich by the way it ROCKS!!! Well i blew my ls motor i think, i decided to go ls vtec funds are low but a friend of mine is a mechanic so he will hook me up. A stock b16 head a stock ls block and he is giving me the option of Type R pistons or B16 wich is better and wich one will give me better compresion want to get 11:1 compresion. And should i get a GSR or Type R water pump, what ya think is better and GSR timing belt or im not sure if a Type R belt will work but dont hurt to ask ya. As far as every other parts pretty much stock ls for now. What do i expect my rev limit will be and how much hp will i get and how relaible will this motor will be if i dont add anything else to it soon.
for higher compression get the b16 pistons its much better the type r does not make the highest compression difference http://www.c-speedracing.com/h...c.php check this it will help better
