Well i was thinking about takin a dead Dx engine off of my uncle's hands and rebuild it , but the question is that would it still be stock Hp or would it inprove from like stock to Ls. or what please help me out..... im wondering if its worth it! or should i just buy a LS...... give me suggestions on site where i can buy parts for it and sugestions on what to do and if its worth the money to rebuild it becuas i want some thing with more Hp and if you can do that to a stock to make it as fast as a ls or fast then i will do that but i need help with it if so..... if not tell me so i can save up for a ls and turbo

You are comparing day and night. The B18B motor has more displacement, 1 more drumstick, and more torque than a D15. Unless you up the displacement, up the compression and do lots of work, don't attempt it. IMO, not worth the $$.

 

would a B16A JDM SIRII VTEC be good in my 92 hatch, with a turbo
