I've heard that some REF's will allow a fuel pressure gauge, as long as theres nothing adjustable with it.
And supposedly FPR's and Fuel Rails are fine as long as they are CARB exempt with an EO#, but I dont know of any that actually are...

the one on my old Jackson Racing setup was. at first it was a "gross polluter" so they adjusted the FPR and it passed after the adjustment.
I don't believe that anybody make a CARB certified fuel rail. The Referee that I went to stated that an aftermarket one is not allowable. (personally, I think this is dumb)
The cheapest solution is to just go to a junk yard and pick up a stock one.
I can understand an adjustable FPG not being allowable.
I'd argue with a Referee about having a fuel pressure gauge. There is no reason that you couldn't justify it as a "trouble shooting" tool.

what engine are you running? if you are b-series then I will trade you my stock fuel rail for your AEM...I mean clearly I can see you are in a desperate situation and i'm going to do my damnest to take advantage

i think the aem fuel rail is legal... carb exempt...
AEM make mostly everything street legal..
i remember my ref telling me that, he told me as long as your aftermarket part is made for the motor and has a carb legal # or whatever they are called.
also said that legal part doesn't mean it will make it pass smog, everything has to run right to pass the smog.

I did a quick search over at:
http://www.arb.ca.gov/msprog/a...y.php
It's a database of all CARB exempt parts. I searched under all the fuel categories and could not find a fuel rail that was legal for hondas/acuras.
