Default BACK TO INTERNAL! WTF! H22A1 INTERNAL DIZZY INTO CB ACCORD?

ok, does the jdm h22a1 internal dizzy plug and play with the cb accords(90-93) wiring harness? I wired my usdm h22 external coil up in my accord, but now the dizzy **** the bed. i wanted to go back to internal using a jdm internal dizzy, but only if it is a plug and play for my accord harness. thanks in advance for any help that you could give me!

It will plug and play if the coil setup on the JDM H22A (internal) matches with your car setup.

From what it sounds like, you're trying to use an internal coil distributor in an external coil car. There are two options:

1) Add an external coil to the internal coil unit, such as an MSD Blaster coil or something of the like.

2) Take the plug that goes to the external coil and look at the wires. There is a yellow wire and a yellow/black wire. Splice these two together and leave the plug hanging. Now a little forewarning, I heard from one source that on their car the wire colors were different. I cannot confirm it as I haven't seen it.

ok, first off, thanks for the reply! So, i get what your saying, i have alreay wired up an external coil on a usdm h22 in a 91 accord. but since the car was orginally an internal set-up, and if i use the wiring harness from the accord, would the jdm internal coil set-up work? i just dont want to buy the internal coil for this car and it not match-up. thanks, again!

The internal coil jdm h22 engine is plug and play for 90-91 accords ONLY. 92-93 switched to external coil.
