If I'm not mistaken the bulbs used for illumination are #194..
[GE type bulb standard number...]

There is a bulb #194NA that is an orange bulb for sidemarkers
same size and shape, which would probably accomplish the desired effect...

the paint is with all the glass staining paints and glass etching spray cans. Ask someone that works there where the glass stain paints are and you will find what your looking for. I think the last time i went there they had yellow, orange, green, red.

yea i got red stained glass paint to do my tails red/clear on my old civic - krylon makes it, and i got it at michaels - worked pretty good

i dunno about the bulbs, but for the needles, there's a how-to here, the pics aren't great but you can get the idea. http://homepage.mac.com/schwanginpt/

so will the paint last on hot bulbs? hmmm

i think imma try and cluster lights before the needles....

also a cheap way to make me headlight bulbs have more of that jdm yellowish tint... but will the stain hold up on the lights?

In my EG I used Red Tester's model paint for the guage cluster & teh climate control. I am not sure what size bulbs the EF uses, but for a DIY tech on this go read the thread in the EG+ forum. Mine came out in a very nice, deep red. HTH.

Just use orange paint then. I just preferred a rich red in my car, now I just need a matching CD player.

MY PAINT IS DRYING!!!! HAHA costed me about 15$ in bulbs and paint...

hopefully it will look awesome! pics afterwards also!

sidenote: even just brand new bulbs in cluster make it 10x better. i tested all my bulbs before paint. and my cluster lit up like a xmas tree! haha

DONE!

AH! its def sick. but a bit on the red side

to see the numbers all redish/orange is kinda sick.

i need to rig something so that the light from the top doesn't shine 100% then it will be perfect...

and my hightbeam and hazard indicators are orange/red gotta fix that.

my camera blows. so no pics. im going to rock it for a while, i might go spend another 10$ and go stock. with fresh bulbs the cluster looks sick!

btw. #24 bulbs are the big ones in the back. you need 5 of them.
and i think ti was like 1173's for the smaller one. u need about 5 of those also.

happy hunting. i am not JdM-ish FGresh to death. mo fo! ha
