Default Golden Eagle VTEC conversion Plate and Oil cooler

I am installing a JDM ITR motor into my Civic Si and have run into a snag. On my original B16a2 I had used the GReddy sandwich plate to get a feed for oil pressure and temp. Well, it won't fit over the ITR's oil cooler assembly. Does anyone know for sure if the GE version will fit??

Thanks, Ken

The six sides flanges of the nut that locks the cooler onto the block hits the inside of the Greddy plate, not allowing the flange to make a seal. Heck it doesn't even allow it to touch. The way it is set up right now is Block-->OEM oil cooler-->sandwhich adapter. Can I switch the sandwhich adapter plate and the oil cooer??
Because right now the first way listed doesn't work.

I will post the ? in the hybrid forum. I thought I'd try here first, considering the chassis/engine combo shouldn't be a factor; only the engine.

Thanks.

That's how I tried to do it. I just want to confirm what you have: the Greddy adapter is NOT the new version, and you have a B18c5 block??

Would the bolt that holds the oil cooler onto the block be different for a JDM block vs. a USDM one??

I'll try again tomorrow, but I don't expect my results to change overnight.

I know you are, I didn't intend to make you think otherwise.

That's the differences I was hoping for: GSR block and new adapter vs. ITR block and old version.
