Default AEM cai vs. sri comparison

between the cold air intake and short ram intake, how much better is the cold air intake then the short ram. other then the fact that it draws in cooler air, does the length have anything to do with making power? and if so by how much more. i have already opted for the short ram but was just woundering what i'm missing out on if anything.

...good reading material. so bottom line is as for the lengths, short ram is better in the top end while cold air intake are better in the midrange. diameter has something to do with the tuning of the intake also (too big - not enough velocities; too small - restricting the flow). tapered designs - hmmm???
