CRX radiator options!?
Hey.
I have a CRX SI w/B18A1 and an oem radiator at the moment. I am wondering if there is a way I can fit an EG, EK or DC2 radiator into my Rex? I am thinking about doing a turbo setup and I would like more room to work with because of the size of turbo and wastegate. If anyone has any ideas or info please let me know. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanx,
-Lor

They are too tall and you can modify your stock stuff to make them fit.
There are lots of threads on this so use the search.
There is probably even some info in the FAQ thread.
Give search a try.... be sure to click on the ARCHIVES button in the search page.

So it looks like the search showed that maybe 98 under Dodge/Plymouth Neon radiators would fit the best. I'm still wondering if the Neon radiator is the about the same size as the EG radiators or is it more like the EF radiators? hmm...
According to this picture..It looks more like the EF radiators.

I remember reading that the DA radiator will fit in a hatch, why not a crx?

You did not read my post correctly. I said the DA radiator fits into the ED6 body. Than I also said if it fits into the ED6, why wouldn't it fit into the crx. Im sure it WOULD fit in there. But if he is looking for a smaller oem radiator then try the 92-95 civic hx radiator? Im just throwing that out there. Not sure if it will fit in there.

Adding a DA radiator will work in any ED chassis.
What I don't understand about your post is why would you suggest a larger radiator when he clearly wrote that he wanted a smaller width radiator to make room for his turbo.

No you do not need a aftermarket radius arm kit to run a EG radiator. I run a EG radiator in my crx without one...

What did you have to do? Any modding to radiator support or anything? Let me know. You have any pix? thanx

You can search and find pics.
You can -
tilt the radiator back toward the motor
hack out some of the skeleton under the hood
or hack some of the crossmember out and make custom brackets.
