rear disc conversion questions..
i have searched already on here, and came up with late 90 accords and such people asking questions about rear disc conversion..
i drive a 91 civic hb (dx).
just wondering what all would be needed to do the conversion.. ive got a 91 hb (cx) parts car, so i imagine i could use some of the parts off of it.
its comin close to winter, so im lookin for a little project for myself to do to kill some time.
and yes i realize im only running a d15, so try to keep the flamming to a minimum. (to each their own, right)

I would say your best and most common investment would be the 90-93 integra rear brake system just need trailing arm and complete brake system use your stock upper and lower control arms....I used a integra 90-93 e brake cable also had to modifiy it (shorten it) but it works...91 hatch Si if i remember right might of had rear disc brakes? if so could get the e brake cable from that or the whole assembly integra would be bigger rotor size... once you got your trailing arm and brake system and e brake cable you will need a crx si or hatch si if it came with rear disc brakes or a 88-91 4 door sedan/ station wagon if it came with disc brakes in the back master cyclinder it wont be as big as a integra master cylinder but it will work with your stock brake booster i am thinking.... if you use integra master cylinder you will need an integra brake booster....integra 90-93 15/16 and upgrade of that would be a gsr 16/16. You will also need a 40/40 perporting valve 90-93 integras have them so do 90-91 crx si's that have rear disc brakes it will be stamped 40/40 on it. But what I did was convert everything over to integra brake booster, master cylinder, perporting valve, disc brakes all around, ebrake cable all from an integra... hope this helps
thanks explicitspeed..
it just so happens too, at the local wrecking yard, some kid wrote off his 92 teg and now its just sitting there. his losscan be my benefit

I do not know if the Accord rear disc brakes will fit, but even if it did, the lug pattern is different. I would say go with Teg/Civic/crx rear disc brakes.
