I'm wondering myself how common they are on street driven H22's. Becoming pretty common among the B series boys.

I've just started looking into these, the consenses being they can work very well. A guy here makes the manifolds, you supply all the other stuff. There's a current thread on his stuff here: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1010406

The proponents say throttle response is great and that power under the curve is better everywhere.

The downside is synchronizing all four throttle plates and that either an aftermarket ECU, or modified factory ECU is absolutely required. Oh, and you'll have to figure out a throttle position sensor. And don't forget you still need an aircleaner.

What I have yet to see is a comparison dyno chart to, say, a type-R intake manifold. My "impression" is that they will certainly be better at the high end (after all, the ITBs come from motorcycles), but I have yet to be convinced about the low end. "Low" in this case meaning <8000rpm, but I'm willing to change my mind given dyno results.

Bump. I'd like to hear something too, I don't plan on it, but a whole bunch of my h22 buddies seem more and more interested in ITBs.

Just want personal experiences from anyone running it. I have read the DIY ones but no one is really coming out with any specific thoughts when it comes to the H22 motor.

Specifics would be what you use for tuning? Drivability? Would you do it all over again if you had the choice? Stuff like that..
