Hope you don't mind me posting a few pics here of my latest mods. I have replaced my old exhaust for a more free flowing job, last one was two restrictive in use with the JRSC. Also changed the induction from a Blitz sonic (nice but suffered from heat soak more so once the Charger was on) to an injen style job. The car is in now for a remap. Should be looking at a few improvements to the drivability. I will post the dyno figures if you are interested tomoz. Honest the back box does not look as big in the reall life as in the picture
. It is based on the Tanabe Super Medalion. Hope you like.
look at those welds, that aint going anywhere

My JRSC

Nice big filter

Notthe same size as the injen for some reason, we managed to get it down the hole and still keep the fuze box in it's standard place.

jobs a goodun, bumpers back on and it sounds, luuuvly

Oops at the last pic, not the coolest pose in the world but hey ho.....

now all you need to do is fab a piece of sheet metal and cover up the SC.
"this thing's pretty much stock. all i got is a cold air. my steering pump pulley is out of spec it's making this annoying noise. i'm taking it to the dealer next week. do you wanna run?"
hehehehe

actually those filters provide worse power then the k&n filters. when you thin about it there is less surface and less volume inside the filter, this is due to the top filter that sticks down inside. more volume inside the filter creats more air coming in. i talked with k&n at honda day at atco which explained the whole thing to me. i had though those filters would flow better than the regular ones, but i guess not. oh yeah sweet ride, wish i still had my jrsc ep3

I always love to see Ep3's that have either just az much mods done to them or more. A suggestion though if u haven't already tried it. I'm not sure 100% what your CAI iz but I have a AEM V2 and from my extensive experience that is the best things that has happened to the K20 since the A2 head. If u do give me some input, I just might switch.

Cheers for the comments. Yeah the old induction kit I had was a Blitz sonic. It was ok, sounded nice but on hot days (which we do get over here occasionaly) it sufferd from heat soak loosing me power. The system I have on now is very similar to the injen. Perhaps not as good as the GruppM which a few of my JRSC'd forum members have. But it only cost me £105 ($180 or so). So it was a lot cheeper (over here anyway) than the branded injen or AEM. It is a system made in Tiwan and brought over by the guy who I got my exhaust system off. Both are cheeper than the branded Japanese/US versions but are excellent quality. As for performance, well the car is at the tuners having the new bits dynoed and the K-Pro set up even as we speak by one of the top tuners over here Abbey Motorsport. I should have it all set up by the weekend, when I do I'll let you know the results.
