SCCA Radial Sedan???
I'm planning on running some SCCA events this fall.
Is the "fuel test port" needed in Redial Sedan?
In Radial Sedan the engine displacement, number of valves, and whether the motor has variable valve timing is used to determine the minimum vehiche weight.
My ITR with a B18C5 must weigh 2340lbs which is attainable.

Since RS is a regional class, you'll have to check the regional specs.
Either way, you can use the fuel injection inspection port that already exists on the car. You'll just need an adapter and some fuel line so tech can get a sample. No need to plumb in a new fitting.

Paul,
Talk to Paul Morrison at http://www.fuelports.com
He's got a trick little device that replaces the factory test plug on the top of your fuel filter banjo bolt, and runs for about $23-25, IIRC. It's got a fitting with a hose that allows you to open a valve without having to depressurize or open up the fuel system. Took me 5 minutes to install, and they are SCCA approved.
As far as whether they are required for RS? I think they are required for all cars in SCCA.
