if i get a V2 aem would i need a bypass can some one show me pics in a tegg
IIRC, AEM doesn't make a bypass for the V2 because of the varying size of pipe.

Unless you submerg the filter in water, you don't need a bypass. If you really want the extra safety, then don't get the V2, just get the original AEM CAI and a bypass.
Personally, I think if its wet enough outside to put my bumper under, I don't need to be driving. Its an Integra, not a jeep.

yea i got the v2 it still sucks up water so if it rains a lot where u live dont get it and another thing it s not street legal but that doesnt matter much

Uh the V2 has carb legal tags on the intake itself making the intake legal to use. Plus if you place a bypass valve on the intake, you disturb the spiral flow of what it is designed to do. If you are that concerned about sucking up water, coast thru any deep puddles, or invest into in their CAI with the bypass valve. The intake has to be submerged fully to have any water sucked up the engine.

i dont believe it was designed to spiral what they had in mind was resonant air from varying pipe diameter actually forces more air in. got a buddy thats shows positive manifold pressure on his vafc on a gsr with a V2

Amen to that, too many threads about "run through 2-3 ft puddle with CAI, motor won't start"

I dont really understand that. Use some punctuation lol.
Anyway unless it rains and floods where you drive you wont suck up water, because like everyone mentioned the filter must be submerged. This has only happened to me twice in the year I had my intake, and the roads were extremly flooded.
If you want to be safe just get a SRI or the original AEM w/ Bypass
