go here. you can find a map for just about any setup. but as anyone will tell you, only use em as base maps. dont run full boost on em till u get a custom map tuned for your specific car. but i'm a hypocrite, i used to run my b16 for awhile on basemaps, even dynoed on it, put down 360whp

You will need to provide the injector size also. Most important.

But as correct, theres an article somewhere in there, providing step by step, on how to make a basemap. Once you got the basemap done. Let someone look at it. Just to make sure things look right. - Start off running rich, if you plan on tuning soon.

get larger injectors. Stock injectors max out at very low boost.

stupid question but, once you have a basemap then how do you tune it....I mean when it is on the dyno do and I do some pulls, everytime I want to make a change do I have to reburn a chip? Doesn't that get expensive...??

not really. the at29c256 chip is re-burnable, and at about 6 bucks a piece, you should only need a few. you can get an emulater to plug into the ecu and connect to your computer, but those ******* are a few hundred bucks if im not mistaken.

egturbo- i would suggest making the basemap, and going from there. the basemap i made for my single cam was pretty damn good. if you want help with a basemap, pm me i can also help you out. id actually look foward to it because im gonna wind up with an ls turbo in my car in the next few months, so ill be making on myself anyway.

also, how big is that apex turbo? rhb5/rhf5? if so, i think it might be on the small side for a b18b.

yes! ditch the missing link and fmu. you will have so much more adjustability with uberdata it hurts to think about.

I flat out refuse to make basemaps for anybody, period. However, if somebody is willing to read the make-your-own-basemap thread on the UD forum, I don't mind looking over their work, comparing it to mine, and offering pointers. hint hint.
