not sure i think they have there differences and why would you want to do that when you could use a LS crank 1.8L and rods resized and custom pistons bored 2.0L with aftermarket sleeves cheaper!!!!!!

I was always under the impression a 2.0l stroked would not last long. Also to get it sleeved would cost 900 and custom work. while I could get the spoon stroker kit for 1200

why would I got through all that custom work when I could just get a b20 block? I wanted to go spoon because It is a good kit and will withstand high rpms for a expended amount of times being that I autox my car.

There is a reason the stroker kit it specified for the B16B and not the B16A: the B16B is a de-stroked B18C bottom end, and therefore the block has the B18's 7mm taller deck height vs. the B16A block.

So no, it does not work.

i said yes as a fast easy answer, and if u look at the specs of the spoon kit, it would work, with a deck plate if he is going to spend all that money on the stroker kit, whats another few bucks for a deck plate?, but i think with the proper tolerences and claying, u might be able to pull off the kit in a b16 ONLY with a stock gasket and NON-milled head ....

the spoon b16b stroker is just a b18c-r crank, rods , piston combo.
and no u cant use it in your b16a because the deck heights between the b16b block and b16a block is about 1/2 and inch taller.

89mm LS crank. Stock pistons, and some... I think when i figured it out the rods had to be 5.05" long. Ill double check.

Presto a stroker. I think it was around 11:1 C/R
