ITR Throttle body cooling plate?
Does the ITR TB have a "cooling plate" on the bottom where coolant flows through it? I recently sold my BBK TB and it had a cooling plate on it, but I dont know if thats from the stock TB or just a piece that came with the BBK TB. I dont remember if that stock TB has the plate or if its built into the TB itself. Thanks
In this pic, if you look at the TB, there is a coolant pipe on the underside of it. That is part of a the cooling plate Im talking about. But I dont know if that is part of the TB itself on the stock TB, or if the plate is a separate piece that can be removed.

Block-off plate for if you use it with OBD-2 B18C motors?
All of the throttle bodies have coolant flowing through them. The differences is whether they have a Fast Idle Thermo Valve or not. OBD-1 motors had them, OBD-2 motors did not.

Im not sure if you answered my question or not.
I need to know if that piece (the plate) on the bottom of that throttle body pictured above is part of the TB, or a separate piece that comes off the TB. This is for a 2000 ITR motor which I believe is OBD2. The TB that I just sold (BBK) had this plate on it, which I removed, because I thought it was something I would need for a stock ITR TB. I need to know if I need that plate when I get another stock ITR TB, or if its not needed. If its not needed, then I need to send this plate to the guy that bought my BBK TB. I do not believe this plate came with the BBK TB. I think it came off my stock TB and was used on the BBK TB. Unfortunately I was not there when my motor was built and I dont know.

There is no such plate on OEM Honda OBD-2 throttle bodies. My guess is that the BBK throttle body is made to be used with either OBD-1 or OBD-2 systems, so they gave you a block-off plate for those that were OBD-2.
