does this give more hp than intake manifold?
also wouldnt it make your motor run hotter?

All if not 99% of Race cars use a Plenum as is increases velocity and this allows the motor to "breathe" better. IITB's are great but a pain to tune and offer not legal way of registration for street legal use. This may not be an option but there are more efficient ways of intake systems.

a friend of mine jus put itbs in his 2004 civic si. they were custom made out of throttle bodies from a motorcycle (im not sure which model). Anyways wat he told me the advantage comes from the small amount of lag wen you hit the gas how it dips a slight bit. with motorcycles it is an immediate response and thus having that helps a bit. jus my two cents.

They are t3h ubeR hotness but spensive to get. Or you can go DIY

yeah a lot of people in the all motor forum are making their own from motorcycle tb's and cutting thier stock IM and making it work...there's one guy in there with a video and the ITB's sound lovely...car is pretty quick too...

i read how you can have an airbox w/filter in the site below. but for the people that dont have an airbox like the pic above. that would suck! you'd probably suck in alot of masketos and **** and night.
