Default All Motor Setup

Ok guys now I'm decide on doing a all motor setup on my 99 gsr. Heres a list of parts I thought would be good to use:

Skunk 2 CAM Gear
Skunk 2 Stage 1 or 2 cam shafts
Skunk 2 valve springs
Skunk 2 Retianers
Skunk 2 valve set
Skunk 2 obd2 to obd1 conversion Harness
ACL Bearings
Greddy Timing Belt
Aem High Volume Fuel Rail
RC Injectors

OK guys This is my goal. My goal is to have over 200 hp to the wheels. Going to have a custom exhaust and I'm undecided on What I/H combo I want to use! I"m planning on running a 12:1 CR. ANd I'll have the block bored from 1.8 to 2.0! Any help or guidance you guys can give me with my set up would be great!
Also what would be better Stage 1 or stage 2 cams from skunk 2?

if you want 200hp .. go with some more agressive cams then the skunk2 stage 1's .. look into Buddy Club Spec III+ cams, and with the valve train, look into Rocket Motorsports or Omnipower (good prices at http://www.kteller.com).

I second that i have heard alot of great stuff about Omnipower, im actually choosing those over the skunk2 valvetrain myself but i think i am also running the Skunk2 Stage 2 cams.

you can't bore your block from 1.8 to 2.0,you cant remove that much material.only way would be by stroking it.

but seriously though, do a lot of research... a lot of topics have been covered. I found its better often times to just search under archives then to post a new discussion that might have been covered a million times. You can learn a lot just off of searching but dont believe everything you read, some of it is hear say.

good luck though

Boring past 82mm without resleeving is a no-no. Boring the sleeves to thin. You would need to resleeve.

Oh, in that case, you're sleeving it, you don't bore. As for that setup, I would suggest a higher compression. 11.6:1 area. Would even be good enough to bump the stage 2 cams. I myself wouldn't do the retainers. The ITR retainers can be taken up to 9500. And don't forget engine management to tune that bish!

i say you run skunk valve train with stage 2's and get the rev valves just as good as skunk and a lot cheaper and run venom 310 injectors...then you will have power

You can, it just needs to be sleeved.
