FS: 2000 PY ITR 3k Miles Bone Stock
2000 Phoenix Yellow ITR bone stock with only 2990 miles. Nose bra, mud flaps, and floormats are the only accessories.
How much is this worth?
I'd never really considered selling it, but since it's never been my daily driver and with my financial situation the last couple of years, can't even afford auto-x or track entry fees, so it's been a garage queen. The only damage is the right rear wheel is a bit chipped and pitted at a track last year where I slid sideways on the gravel at the side of the course. Original tires, but they are somewhat worn from auto-x and some cupping from a Solo Trials track event. I've never beat on it, unless you count the handful of times I auto-xed and tracked it. Garage kept and never seen snow or coastal sea breezes since it's been in Colorado the entire lifetime. I never put it up for sale, but a local auto-xer is dead set on buying one to win auto-x since his STi is not competitive. I just want to make sure I'm not going to let it go for too little. He says he posted an inquiry about it recently, but I can't find the thread and haven't been on here for like a year.

How many miles on H00ch's museum piece?
How much more than $20k? The guy was about to buy an unseen '01 ITR with 21k from a dealer in Houston for $19.5k. He likes the fact that that one still has dealer warranty, even though they removed a CAI, but would have to spend $600 on shipping.

Tell him 23k and try not to go lower than 22.5k and it's his, not worth the hassle of trying to sell it to someone else so snag this buyer. Banks never want to loan people the amount that R's are worth so if he has the money drop it like it hot and sell that ****. Of course you could possibly get 23-25k but who knows how long that will take. I inquired about a 98 R, 3500 miles, and I think it sold for $17,999 or so. good luck.

My R has 54,250 miles.Well taken care of except some war wounds (see 2nd paragraph) I was going to take it to carmax (just to see) and to a few local dealerships, one that has the reputation for buying R's for above what I would call 'fair market value' and reselling even higher. (i dont like that they'd try to sell it for 20-22 or so, but its more money in my pocket if they buy it for 17-18 like the other one they bought this year)
My R is in no way mint or close to it though, its looking great lately, but still has war wounds (front bumper is not nice lookin any more, rear quarter has a nice dent, fenders don't line up perfect, but not terrible).
I suppose if i was going to sell to a private party, I'd want 16. No idea if I'd get it. I'm shooting for higher from a dealer.

Chris - probably being a bit optimistic.

The dude would pay cash, but wouldn't go higher than $21k. The low mileage isn't so important to him since he would daily drive it (works at home, so that's not a big deal either). Would you guys sell it for that?
Used to be no big deal to hang on to it either in the days when all that mattered was garage space and I was able to drop cash for it also.
Another reason it's such a garage queen is I'm afraid to drive it around with all the horror stories of theft. Christ, another local auto-xer already got his RSX-S stolen parked in front of his house. And I didn't think there was a market for the POS strut suspension Hondas.
