Default Question about the quaife lsd.

Are there different part numbers for an ls tranny vs a gsr tranny?
Does anyone have the part number for the ls hydro tranny?
Thanks

Default Re: Question about the quaife lsd. (underpressure02)

The LS tranny uses Quaife part # QDF-1U1, the same diff. used in the B16 transmissions. These differentials have a smaller bolt pattern for the ring gear, and the VSS ring is in a slightly different spot compared to a B18C style diff (Quaife part # QDF-6U1). Quaife America's part number for the QDF-1U1 differential is 60.309.160, and the QDF-6U1 is 60.309.180.

Hope that helps,

Brian

cool thanks for the info. So if I bought a 60.309.180 that would not work in an ls tranny?

That would only work in an LS if you ran the correct Ring gear (B18C), and VSS arrangement.
