Default Skunk2/Mugen Wierd Timing Hump

I noticed while looking at Mugen/Skunk2 maps that they both have a strange hump in timing between 6.5k and 7.5k. Just in that area timing is advanced about 4* above where it is at 6k and 8k. My N/A car felt very tight (tone changed, seemed to be fighting itself) in that area of the map while running a stock Skunk2 map. I got rid of that hump and the car seems to pull much smoother through that area. Anyone have an idea why those maps would advance timing in that area? My car didn't seem to like it, It makes me wonder what's the logic behind that map.
