Changing shocks, but what about springs?
My shocks are making noise in my 98 civic and it's time to change them. I'm curious thought if i should change the springs as well. I dont want to lower the car because i dont want to install a camber kit since i wouldn't know how to adjust it, or at least it seems like it's hard to me now.
Are you sure your shocks are making the noise? I know the bushings tend to cause noise. Anyways whatever.... if the height of the car is ok, then you don't need to change them. There's no harm in changing them, because you need to remove them anyways.
BTW, you can go without a camber kit for anything less than a 2" drop.... that's approximate of course, but you don't need to change them if the ride height is ok.

The noise is happening in the front driver side but it's only in an alley over pot holes or large travel distance of the wheel, it's a noise as if something is loose. I didn't think it would be shocks but what else would be loose there? And as for the shocks, i'm also changing them because the car has a lot of body roll, tires aren't the issue because i just got performance summer tires.
