interior lights don't light up, what fuses to look at?
i just bought a 1999 honda accord v6 ex coupe, everything's in really good condition except i noticed some of the lights on a few buttons don't light up. the fan control dial and 3 of the buttons next to it don't light up. i was wondering what fuse(s) i should look at. also, the hazard light doesn't light up, should it light up? thanks everyone.
what you described sounds more like 2 bulbs burnt out, assuming that you're referring to the illumination lights (ones that come on only when you have the parking light/headlights on). remove the black trim, and on the back of the A/C controls, you should see the connectors for the bulb just outside the fan control ****, and one towards the middle of the buttons.
its probably not a fuse...when you're talking about your hazards...if your hazards dont light and its a fuse your signals should NOT work neither...but im not 100% sure on that...like he said, your little bulbs behind the panel might be burnt out...
some pics i took, even the led light is out, and is the clock suppose to be dark at night as well? or is that another bulb heh. thanks for the replies fellas.
ok, took off some of the interior, few screws here and there, easy stuff.
i'm counting 5 bulbs that need to be replaced tomorrow. anybody know how much these things run for??
also, now that all that stuff is out i'll get the radio serial so i can get the stupid code from the dealer... is there any other place the serial would be other than on the back of the radio?

possibly somewhere in your owners manual, but as long as youre that far along, you might as well just pull the radio out real quick and grab the code from there

bring the bulbs in to the parts department so they can match it. at the dealership, they'll run about 3 bucks a piece... i couldn't find anywhere else in my area to get them from, so i had to fork up the money
yea thanks for letting me know. i stopped by autozone just incase they had it, but they didn't... went to honda, ordered 5 bulbs $26, they had 4 in stock and the other they ordered for me... should be there sometime next week, cant wait to put everything back in.. right now there's nothing in the car (clock/hazzard/ whole pannel), i took the radio out today too, heh.
i tested to see if the lights were working a little while ago, everything was working except for the 1 that wasn't replaced (middle lcd screen). now im trying to get the radio code except the car isn't registered yet, and the title is not here either. wanna see if the cd player is good, and what condition the speakers are in already!!
