How 2 Manage an N/A and Nitrous Setup? *Fawking Detailed*
Ive never really ponderred into the facts of engine management. But Ive got a few questions.
I plan on making a relatively reliable daily driven Car,that I can run all motor against the slower ricers, but bust out the big shot of nitrous for the quick domestics or people that need to be embarassed. Heres my setup, tell me what I can do.
Car 88 Crx
Head Work- D16A6
Milled .040
Mild Port n Polish
3 angle valve job
Delta 272 cam
Dual titanium valve springs
Ferrerea retainers
1mm oversized titanium valves
AEM Adjustable cam gear
Venon Intake manifold
JG 64mm throttle body
dsm 450cc injectors
BnM FPR
Block Work- D16a6
Arias 10:1 (about) Pistons 75.06mm bore
Eagle Rods
Crank fully balanced and micropolished
OEM deck height
Extra's
Direct Port Nitrous Injection (150 shot)
DC Sports 4-1 Header
3" Exhaust from header back, no cat or muffler, just a cherry bomb resonator, passenger side exit
I just dont really know how I go about managing this system. Spark, Air/Fuel and timing
Obviously the setups for both would be different but I want to be able to change on the fly. I dont know which of the MSD systems it is, but you just turn a **** correct and it adjust timing? Ive also got the adjustable cam gear.
Ive got a shitty laptop that I bought for like $40 for tuning, will do just fine, Im probably going to have a Zietronix Wideband.
I just need a system that allows me to still have a well tuned daily driven all motor car with descent gas mileage that still will pull effieciently all the way to redline, but want to be able to easily flip over to the ******* beast and be ready to spray a 150 shot on demand.
Know what Im saying guys, what type of systems allow you to do this?
Hopefully on a budget, and hopefully something a minimal experienced person can handle by themselves. There are no tuners anywhere in my area.
I dont plan to have this car back on the road until early march anyways so Ive got plently of time to setup and learn. Just need help
