Well my friend was telling me that if you have exhaust conponents that are not the same size you lose power. I know that the stock exhaust is 2.25 inches. So I am wondering if what the header is to see if ther was a possibility of losing power due to the exhasut size differences.

well it's not like you're going to have much of a choice in diameters of the header

I have an RSX-S race header on my Si and I can say that the primaries are noticeably (not a 2" difference, but enough to see with the naked eye) larger than the stock header and that the collector area bolts right up (is the same size, I would estimate) to the RSX-S stock midpipe.
Either way, race header is better than a shorty/stock header, so you're not losing power, regardless. You may not be getting your full potential, but you'll still be getting a noticeable gain.
Very good mod for the money (maybe the best, it seems).

O ya definalty noticed the difference. I am just wondering if it is stil possible to gain more power by going with pigger piping.

cave, are you on stock exhaust right now? it would help to get bigger pipe than stock. not a OMG huge difference thogh. it does help a couple of whp. not worth ti in my mind though which is why i'm not spending the 500 bucks to get an exhaust.

Sound difference is barely noticable. It sounds a little bit meaner but not to much. I really love it. It does remove the cat.

Well I was thinking about gettign an exhaust anyway. So I wanted to make sure that I picked an exhaust that would help me so I was just checking out the diameter.

i'm running on stock exhaust too. much louder, although more ....harmonized sound. not like fartcan loud.
