Question about alpines wireless remote. can someone help.
Hey everyone, I have an alpine cva-1004. its the one with a lcd screen.
anyway, I have the wireless remote control from my old head unit which was a cda-7894. i'm trying to use the remote on the cva-1004 and it doesnt work. is there some kind of setting i need to do? I know the remote is compatible b/c i checked everywhere and they all say its compatible.

there is no setting AFAIK. Some of the alpine remotes won't work with other units... and there's nothing you can really do about it
