Default The R hesitates when going through Vtec....?

I just got back from a drive and a 330 Ci wanted some .... tailgating me and stuff so I gave him some and when I hit Vtec the car hesitates and goes through the rpm band and hesitates again, obviously loosing power... I don't know what it is... a couple days ago I mishifted and hit 9000... but my idle is still good though... I am thinking I am low on oil... I don't know.... thanks

First check your oil, fuel pump, fuel lines to make sure your car is getting enough oil.

You are probably low on oil, or the car wasn't warmed up when you tried to VTEC it...
