I just bought a used 1996 Honda Accord (137,000 miles) that was maintained by the same Honda dealer who sold it to me. Is it legal to request a complete copy of the previous owner's maintenance records the dealer has on its computers of that specific car I now own?

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

 

Just ask the worst thats going to happen is thay will say no

 

if u know who the previous owner was, if the dealership wont budge, ask the owners, i dont see why they wouldnt give permission, nothing can come back to them, if i sold my car i would, if they say no then u may have something to worry about...
