Me and a friend switched decks in my 97 accord exr. before we did the switch, we accidently left the dorr open for about an hour and a half. Tryed to start the car and it wouldnt go, so we boosted it...but then we couldnt turn the car off! Took the key out and the car kept running. So we pulled some plugs to stop it, did the deck swap, and it did the same thing, turned on, but wouldnt turn off even without the keys out. What the hell is going on?

that is wierd, did he cross some wires, did u take off the jumper cables ?

 

it started doing this before we did any wiring, and after the car started we took off the jumper cables

It sounds like a screwed-up ignition switch. Wiggle the key or try to turn it 'farther' towards off?
