How do i do this? Turn on one radio and other shuts off...
Ok so my uncle has this done and Id like to do the same thing. He has two stereos and when one is on, the other shuts off, and vice-a-versa. How does he do this? He told me Id have to figure it out for myself, and won't tell me. Thanks.

remote turn on lead from the aftermarket radio goes to a relay coil. the normally closed contacts on the relay are put in series with the power wire for the other deck

that said, if the two HUs use the same speakers you must isolate the two HUs from each other, you can get switchers, http://www.soundgate.com or you can make your own, you will need 2x 4PDT relays and 1x SPDT relay then go to http://www.the12volt.com click on relay basics, that way you "don't need no stinking uncle"
